We had an amazing dinner, and breakfast options were equally good. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The elevator in the second building seemed unreliable; since we were on the lowest floor, hauling bags up and down the stairs was a hassle.

The reception staff were very friendly and smiling. The room was huge, the bedding super comfortable, and breakfast was great. The restaurant is still quite affordable considering Icelandic prices. Nothing to add.

Free parking at the door, no kettle in the room but free American coffee in the common lounge. Rooms were spacious with comfy armchairs, a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. Breakfast was decent with a bit of everything. A good spot for auroras in October, but the hotel is too brightly lit from the outside. Everything felt old, not vintage. The sofa in the room had a broken base underneath, giving a sense of neglect even though it was comfortable.
