Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly. The pictures don’t show how cramped the place is; to see the lake or the restaurant you have to go down a huge staircase, which is hard for elderly people and small children, so I was with elderly parents and asked for a car to take them to other common areas, but it took a long time. I ended up leaving the room early because the place is very limited. Parking is open only until 6 pm, so I had to leave my car on the street, and to enter or exit the lodge you have to walk through many narrow parts; there is no parking inside the lodge. Another thing I didn’t like was that the receptionist couldn’t resolve any issues about the stay and I had to speak with the administration, which isn’t on site, which is very annoying.

The location is good and breakfast is really tasty, but the room could use a chair or a bench for storing stuff and a coat rack would be helpful.

The restaurant sits by the reservoir with a beautiful view, but my overall experience was disappointing: I booked the room specifically to enjoy the lodge’s interior and requested a bathtub, expecting a warm soak, yet the water only reached about 33 °C (seemed like 30 °C) while body temperature is 37 °C, so it was clearly cold. The room lacks a hair dryer, leaving me with wet hair in the chill, and there’s nothing else in the rooms—no usual hygiene items you’d find in good lodges. I couldn’t relax in the tub, which was frustrating. I also chose this room because it had a bathtub, but it had no balcony or view, so we lost the view and the bathtub experience. Breakfast was simple, nothing special. It was cold so I couldn’t use the pool, but I did try a boat tour that had a restaurant right by the reservoir, which was the only bright spot. I won’t return; it’s a shame. There are cheaper or equally priced options that offer more value based on all these points I mentioned.
