At arrival, the staff seemed totally overwhelmed. Several times we were asked if we wanted food after 21:00, when the room was probably still inaccessible. The staff spoke very little English and kept looking at us as if we were “no people.” One employee stared at me constantly as a woman. After I pulled out my translation device and asked a staff member why this man was staring at me from the side, I was told he probably works in the café, but nothing more. Finally, at 22:30, the cashier, who had already handled a letter envelope multiple times, escorted us upstairs. She was totally confused about how the key and card worked. I can’t accept that at a price of 170 €; she handed us the card without explaining anything. But we managed to find our way. Breakfast was very, very good. The staff were friendly. A staff member, Valentino, whom we met five years ago, was there again, very friendly and speaking German. We want to give both employees a shout‑out! Kind regards, O. Müller.
