“As good as we hoped but hard to find.”

We echo what other reviews say about the view and breakfast. The room was very clean with fresh white sheets. As everyone notes, it’s hard to find, even with Google Maps. Though the listing says there’s parking, you actually have to hunt for street parking around the spot and struggle with steep up/down roads. Payment was cash only, which we hadn’t realized from the listing. Tea and coffee were brought after breakfast, but maybe it’s just me who needs coffee first!

“Lovely stay with great hosts”

We had a lovely stay; the owners were very nice. They handed us a jug of water when we arrived and also gave us a bottle of wine, so they kindly shared wine glasses and a wine opener. The homemade breakfast was tasty. Be aware that the house sits high in the mountains, so walking back can be tough in the heat. There isn’t a parking space next to the house, but you can park on the nearby street.

“Einzigartige Unterkunft”

Unique rooms full of charm that you have to see. The location is superb with a great view of the castle, town, and valley, and a nice terrace. Spotlessly clean and in top condition. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The host family is open, friendly, and helpful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

“Authentisch”

The room with the high stone ceiling looks really pretty, and the view of the castle is nice; everything is within walking distance. The bathroom is tiny, with no separation between the shower and toilet, so you could theoretically shower while sitting on the toilet 😅 Also, you can't throw paper into the toilet and the trash bin is quite small. Breakfast was nothing, everything was cold. The staff don’t speak English, but we still managed to get by.
