Masseria Montevergine

“Schönes Hotel mit Pool und weitläufiger Gartenanlage in Stadtnähe.”

The room was spacious and well equipped. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The garden was lovely and there was a pool. Breakfast was surprisingly varied and of good quality. The dinner option was not available every day, and even if it had been, the decent service could not compensate for the rather mediocre food quality.

Choosing to stay 4 nights at this masseria exceeded my expectations; the room was comfortable, ours had a wide terrace, and it lets you enjoy the peace of being in the countryside. The place is very pretty, well lit at night, and the large, clean pool is a plus. The beach is 2 km away, no problem if you drive. The recommended one has the best services, but you can go elsewhere if you want a first‑row umbrella. What I found spectacular were the dinners on the hotel terrace—quiet, well attended, good food, variety, and reasonable prices. It is 8 km from Otranto, a lovely city we visited after 4 pm. Another day we went to Lecce. I think it’s a great location to enjoy the beach and see historic sites.

“Excelente localização com atendimento impecável com cordialidade”

The location is good. The service and friendliness are excellent. The breakfast is great. The room could have more accessories to accommodate luggage.

We had a wonderful stay at this masseria. The well‑equipped room was spacious with a very nice balcony. Every morning we enjoyed a good breakfast with savory, sweet, and fresh fruit options. Thanks to the entire staff.

“Lovely staff, good breakfast with options. Wonderful grounds and pool area. Close proximity to Otranto’slovely old town.”

Clean, close to town, quiet. We ended up with an accessible suite that we didn’t really need, located on the side/back area.
