The place sits in a lovely spot near Urbino’s historic centre; the house itself was once the Duke of Urbino’s hunting lodge and has been lovingly restored. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty with homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and plenty of gluten‑free options for my wife. Our room was roomy with a big, comfy bed, and there were no complaints at all.

The property sits on a hill, the house is well preserved and renovated, and the large, quiet garden has loungers that make you feel at home. Damaris treated us to a wonderful breakfast featuring fresh fruit from the garden. When our car broke down, the couple gave up their free Sunday to help us find a rental car; Giovanni drove us 50 km to the only open rental station he could locate. They cared for us like old friends.

The historic villa is stunning, tastefully restored and furnished, and you feel transported back a few centuries. The garden is beautiful with a view over the hills toward Urbino. The breakfast was excellent, and all the special requests we made beforehand were fully met. We drove 15 minutes through lovely scenery to reach Urbino, and the hostess was very friendly and accommodating.

The owners were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The historic farmhouse is set in a beautiful landscape, and the homemade breakfast was excellent.
