“Bom custo benefício”

The location is ideal: a 15‑minute walk brings you to Centrinho da Lagoa and gives quick access to Avenida das Rendeiras, so you can escape the always intense traffic in the area. It isn’t luxurious, but it offers good value for travelers who just need a place to shower and sleep for a day or two. The apartment is small, and despite being freshly painted, the mold smell is strong. There’s no ventilation; all windows face the forest, so you can’t open them for airflow. Other accommodations that are larger seem more appealing, though I never checked them out. For one or two nights the suites might suffice, but I wouldn’t recommend them for longer stays; opt for bigger apartments instead. The Wi‑Fi is very poor.

The spot is convenient, with plenty of everyday conveniences, and the lodge itself is comfortable. However, the cleaning and the air‑conditioner are noisy. My dog found socks belonging to other guests inside the lodge, which made me feel the cleaning was slightly lacking.

The lodge is well positioned, and everything can be reached by Uber (I went in September when traffic was light); you can also walk to Lagoa’s center. The host is attentive, and the communication for clarifying questions was very efficient.

The view from the room is gorgeous, but the housekeeping left a bit to be desired – some spots were still dusty.
