A nice, quiet location in a beautiful old building, ideal for a layover. We didn’t prepare enough for the lack of nearby restaurants, so after a long journey we had to drive 20 minutes to find a place to eat; it’s good to be aware of that.

In the middle of nowhere, perfect for a peaceful night's rest, plenty of outdoor space to find a shady spot in the evening, breakfast was good. The “double” bed turned out to be two singles pushed together, with an uncomfortable join in the middle, and there is no nearby place to get food.

Breakfast was delicious, homemade yoghurt and jams were superb. The road was quite noisy, though cars come irregularly, so as a light sleeper I heard them.

This place felt magical—almost no one else was there, we were never bothered by people, it was serene and calm. The horses on the property were gorgeous!

Christine was an amazing host — so welcoming and kind to me and my friends throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and really comfortable, and breakfast was exactly what we needed each morning. She even went out of her way to drive us to collect our car, which was so generous. And her dog Tipsy was absolutely adorable! Highly recommend staying with Christine. Christine a été une hôte formidable — très accueillante et gentille envers moi et mes amis pendant tout notre séjour. Les chambres étaient propres et très confortables, et le petit-déjeuner était exactement ce qu’il nous fallait chaque matin. Elle nous a même conduits récupérer notre voiture, ce qui était vraiment généreux de sa part. Et sa chienne Tipsy était absolument adorable ! Je recommande vivement de séjourner chez Christine. It was perfect!
