“Highly recommend, great property overall”

The staff were great, friendly, and helpful during our stay and even after I called about the earbuds I’d left behind; the à la carte breakfast was tasty, freshly prepared twice in the morning and top quality; the location is excellent, a short walk to the waterfront and downtown Halifax; the room was quiet and the beds comfy. Our room was near the elevators and meeting room access and we didn’t hear a peep. However, the room door didn’t close properly on its own, which we discovered on day one but the staff fixed immediately. The pool was cold and swim lessons were happening, so I didn’t feel comfortable staying and swimming.

“A frustrating dissapointment.”

I couldn't locate the hotel because the signage was invisible, and there was no valet service. The room lacked a hairdryer and water bottles, even though there's a canteen in the hall. They claimed we had a view, but it was just the back of a building, and the price felt steep for what we got.

“Average room at above average price”

The location is great, but the on-site breakfast options are at least 50% pricier than similar breakfasts within 2-3 blocks.

There was a very nice swimming pool.The location in downtown was quite nice. Our shower was lovely . It was a very good idea having water stations on every floor. The coffee machine was very welcoming. The lift. It took us 3 attempts to get out of the lift on our floor, when we arrived. It went back down to the lobby , then before we managed to get out the 2nd time it went down to the garage. We finally managed to get out on our floor the 3rd attempt. I was crying by then. Everytime we went in the lift there was a problem. When we went into our room, the door was very heavy. The hall poorly lit and the air conditioning was on full blast and our room was freezing cold.It was also very noisy. We managed to unplug it. The room was quite dark. You couldn't see the TV from the bed, which I found unusual. It was expensive and not good value for money
