The central location and proximity to Tarrafal’s main beach, clean and welcoming common areas, and the beautiful shared terrace overlooking the sea are positives. The room is small and especially hot despite the column air conditioner and the ceiling fan (trip in September), which made the nights difficult.

The location was decent and the décor looked nice, the shower was wonderful and the view was amazing; the flat was clean, well‑lit and the kitchen actually works. It got way too hot, the portable AC helped only a bit, and the room felt cramped for two people with a bed that could be firmer. I also didn’t like the cleaning lady turning up early every morning and having to pay cash at checkout without a proper invoice – I would have paid at check‑in for more privacy.

The room and the common areas are nicely decorated, quiet and a bit away from the centre, and the bed was comfortable with mosquito nets on the window. The owners replied fast and were helpful even though they weren’t on site, and the wind‑blown terrace gave a clear sea view.

They let us stay until the ferry left, which was super handy for handling our luggage and taking a quick shower. The only downside was that the room itself felt tiny.

The apartment was spotless and just a short walk from Tarrafal beach, tucked away in a quiet corner. Nothing else to complain about.
