I found the place tucked away from the centre, just a few minutes walk from the action and close to the jet ski lake. The beds were really comfortable and the caravan had everything you needed, so it was definitely value for money. The outside area could use a bit of TLC; the grass was very cropped but weeds were poking up everywhere. The BBQ was greasy and furry, so we didn't use it.

The rental was close to all amenities and a good size. There’s a large TV on a stand in front of the fireplace, but it only works on WiFi and the signal was bad all weekend, so we couldn’t use it. My granddaughter is 4 and goes to bed early, so it would have been nice to watch it. A microwave would have been good too. Things in the cupboards were messy, so I felt I had to wash them before using. I liked the van, and its situation just needs a few changes to make it great.

We paid for a 3-day pass that seemed like a good deal, but most activities were already booked up or not available on our visit. The zip wire was a pricey £50 for two kids to do a small loop twice, and even the free bikes cost £20 for an hour. The food at the on-site restaurant was a letdown - we ordered burgers without sauce, but they arrived with sauce, and then it took ages to get fresh ones. The staff were friendly, but the food quality was only average, and the prices were pretty steep.

The caravan was a real letdown - it was clear the owners had just left their stuff there, with cupboards full of half-used food and personal belongings. We even found toe nail clippers next to the sofa! The main bed was supposed to be a double, but it was way too small for us, and the carpet in the living area was threadbare. For the price, we expected a lot more - it felt like we were intruding on someone's space.

This place was a great find - the apartment was spotless, with loads of room and comfy beds. The kids loved the toys and TV, and the kitchen was well-equipped, even with an air fryer. Plus, it's in a fantastic location. We were really happy with our stay.
