Ubak Guesthouse

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse in Reykjavík. The room was cozy, the shower supplied plenty of hot water, and the kitchen came fully equipped so we could cook our own meals. All of these thoughtful touches made our visit both convenient and enjoyable. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we loved chatting with him about video games, Iceland, and other interesting topics. It was a truly memorable experience that added a special touch to our trip. We really appreciated the hospitality and the comfortable vibe of the guesthouse. If we ever return to Reykjavík, we’ll definitely book here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting.

“Preis Leistung mega Top und war für unsere ersten Tage in Island echt mega :)”

The place is a 10‑15 minute drive from the city centre, and shops are right nearby. The owners were super friendly and jumped straight in when our heating stopped working that evening. They’re reachable via simple WhatsApp contact and responded quickly. Checking in was also very straightforward. The only downside was the shower’s water had a strong sulfur taste, but that’s not the owners’ fault.

“Excelent location, facilities and services”

Check‑in and check‑out were super easy, and the facility itself was great, even offering a community drawer. The blinds, however, were too transparent.

The room was nice with its own toilet, yet the bed was uncomfortable, the curtains were too thin letting in too much light, and because work was happening the view was poor.
