We appreciated the extraordinary welcome and the quality of the staff available throughout our stay; we were also upgraded. Our little dog was accepted at the restaurant. The large room had a view, and the half‑board meals were exceptional with fresh local products. The sweet and savory breakfast was gigantic. We received helpful advice for our tourist visits. The hotel is charming and worth recommending. Thanks again to our hosts.

The establishment is calm and clean, with good bedding. The restaurant meals were very good with quality ingredients, and the breakfast was extraordinary! The young man who received us was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it, and if I return to the region I will go back.

We stayed on a layover with our two dogs (10 euro per dog per night) for one night at this hotel. The owner welcomed us warmly and we got the only room with a balcony. The room was basic, but the bed, linens, and shower were excellent. We slept wonderfully thanks to the quiet atmosphere of the hotel and Hohwald. Dinner was a set simple menu: a Pot au Feu, a piece of cheese, and dessert. It was tasty, though a bit pricey, a feeling that also applied to breakfast. Hohwald is beautifully situated and worth a visit for walking or cycling.
