Hotel Zografos

We have been staying at this hotel for two consecutive years. It’s very cozy, with friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, and wonderful breakfasts. The place is clean and inviting, making it perfect for relaxing.

“Nice Paralia, shops, weather, water”

I liked the staff - polite, assisting, doing their job properly; the room was cleaned every day. The hotel is on the main street so at first you think it's a positive, but later you realize how big the crowd is there, how you cannot reach the hotel with the luggage. The room was nice, the sea view - perfect. Actually the sea view kept us there. I expected 24-hour reception - there's only one locked room as the staff said it's the reception but there wasn't anybody - if you want to speak with the manager, if you want to speak with the receptionist you have to go around all the hotel, to check in the kitchen and may be you will find him. I didn't like the beds on the seaside part - in order to collect more money from guests, the beds were exactly one after another - you can not reach it or go to the water, or to come back; and the next umbrella and beds are next to you - somebody is laying next to you. Something else - the breakfast - one and the same boring things in the morning - no variety at all. And 3 times in the week live music right after your room - no chance to stay in the room till 24:00 o'clock. I wouldn't go there again. And I don't recomment

Only the location mattered; the breakfast was terrible (🤮), the cleanliness of sheets and towels was lacking, and the worst part was no hot water, low water pressure, all at once—definitely not worth the money.

“Összességében nem jönnék ide újra.”

The hotel sits in a great spot and even has its own beach. Daily housekeeping kept the room tidy and towels were swapped every two days. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. The room had a mini‑fridge, a firm mattress, a hard pillow, and air‑conditioning. The shower water pressure was a disaster – we stayed for a week, but only once could we shower properly; the rest of the days we had to bathe from the tap because the shower was dripping. When water was available it was either ice‑cold or scalding, so you’d forget about washing your hair. The towels were not very clean and had an unpleasant sour smell. When we booked, breakfast wasn’t included, but the receptionist told us in the middle of the week that it was ours; she forgot to mention it at check‑in, so we missed it. The breakfast was fine, a Swedish‑style buffet with limited choices, but decent. On the beach you can only use a sun‑bed if you’re a guest, regardless of whether you stay at the hotel. The restaurant was another chaotic experience. Our order was taken correctly only twice out of two attempts (the staff barely spoke English). The food was average, and the waiters (except for one older Hungarian‑speaking male) were clumsy, smoking beside guests while working. Every evening an awful burnt‑oil smell drifted into the rooms, and no amount of ventilation could eliminate it.

Nothing liked about the place. There was no loading or unloading area for luggage, no nearby parking spot, no hot water during the day, and at night the water was warm but low pressure. The bathroom had a very narrow cabin. The corridor smelled heavily from the downstairs establishment. Stepping onto the terrace you’d see a large, dirty awning instead of a view. I’m disappointed and won’t stay there again. The breakfast was the same every day and not fresh. I don’t recommend it.
