“Noisy but very comfortable rooms and great breakfast”

Comfortable bed; lovely, warm bathroom with a great shower. The breakfast was very good. Dirty communal area especially carpets . Noisy rooms: could hear traffic noise (despite country setting) and paper thin walls! Room next to our (No 6 ) had renovation work going on from 8 am which woke us up and defeated the object of our stay which was to break up a very long journey with a long sleep .They did apologise

“Almost perfect”

The food was excellent and the comfort was good, Parking was plentiful and near the hotel.the bedroom I had was compact, but, the bathroom was very nicely presented and well stocked, everything was spotlessly clean. The only fault was the table service, you have to self order dinner which was rather strange, you write down your requests and hand it to the table server, it seemed ages after each course was finished before the next course came I was not even asked if I wanted a desert. Breakfast was self service so no problem

Great location. Very impressed with the complimentary transport between the Talbooth restaurant and hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Felt the decor was a little drab, more use of neutral colours and wood would improve the ambience

Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Bed extremely comfortable. Food and service was excellent in bith restaurants especially the Talbooth. Placing your food and drinks order on a piece of paper at Milsoms. Not able to open any windows

Excellent breakast. We like the buffet style, as you get to choose as much or as little as you want. The range was excellent. What's not to like? It is a lovely place to stay
