The atmosphere is warm and beautiful. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make you feel good. The food was great, and it was nice that authentic Greek dishes were served. The dining rooms could feel a bit cozier with some atmospheric lighting.

The place is gorgeous! Fresh, high‑level design, stunning view. The resort is huge, so the crowd feels invisible. There are several pools, bars, and plenty of food. The buffet spread is massive, food is served meticulously, and it tastes great. Cleanliness is a priority. The staff are friendly, smiling, and quiet. The new rooms are spacious enough and very smartly planned. On the downside, there are rooms on the second floor that aren’t wheelchair‑accessible. Our family with a baby got a room only reachable by stairs, which is less convenient with a stroller.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ella Rocrita, which offered excellent value for money. The staff were outstanding: caring, welcoming, and resourceful, genuinely eager to help all day. Their great service made a real difference and turned the holiday into a wonderful experience. The kids’ club was pricey and impractical for our family: €40 per visit for children under four, and parents couldn’t stay with their kids, even the older ones. Whenever we checked in, the club was empty. Evening entertainment was limited, activity hours were shortened, and no adequate alternatives were offered. The food was average, and breakfast lacked quality and variety. We especially missed tahini and goat’s or sheep’s milk cheeses. Water‑sports gear like paddleboards wasn’t included, even though we’d expect that at a hotel in such a setting. A car is also necessary to explore the surrounding area.
The staff were rude, and the hotel wasn’t prepared for rain. The rooms flooded because of the storm. There were over six power outages at night when it rained. The hotel claims it only has one tuk‑tuk for rainy transport, and there are no shuttles for guests. Bottom line, the place didn’t justify the cost.

The resort is huge, located in a secluded but beautiful area between sea and mountains. The pools are amazing and spotless, with the main one overlooking the sea. The food is varied and satisfies all tastes; besides the buffet, there are other restaurants where you can book a meal with an all‑inclusive option and sample world cuisines. The staff, mostly Filipino, are delightful, always ready to help and smiling. The beach is tiny but tucked into a cove, so it’s more protected from the wind. The sea was gorgeous. I definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday. I’m sure they didn’t give me the room I booked (a sea‑view suite); instead, I got a lower‑value room, with the sea barely visible and at ground level. There are many insects (we’re in nature), and they unfortunately crawl into the rooms even through the doors. Occasionally, there’s a sewer smell, which isn’t great.
