Gondwana Kalahari Anib Lodge

The location with a view of the Waterhole and the well‑maintained facilities were positives, but it was very noisy because many large tour groups were on site – safaris with 50‑70 people were not inviting – the safari‑drive times didn’t match the restaurant schedule (return around 20.30, dinner until 21.00), the price per person was about €33 for the dinner (a modest buffet), the bar closed early and throughout the entire property the lighting was turned off without warning even though guests were still in the seating areas.

The first game drive was very successful, but the buffets were rather mediocre compared to other hotels in the same Gondwana chain.

The location is great! The Sunsetdrive was phenomenal! We saw zebras, rhinos, giraffes and antelopes. Dinner was very tasty. Breakfast was buffet style.

The location, the room, and the facilities were all very nice, and the staff were very helpful. I joined the evening Gamedrive and got to admire many local animals, including a water buffalo. The food also pleased us a lot. One should keep in mind that this is a relatively large lodge with many visitors, but that did not bother us.
