Breakfast was part of my stay, and every day the food was fresh and tasty—I’ve been looking forward to that morning routine even back home. The only minor gripe was the elevators; they were tired and old but still worked, and a few upgrades would make a nice improvement.

The staff were friendly and the location was great. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, the TV only worked half the time, and the room smelled like laundry had been left in the washer for too long.

The location was fine, but the elevator broke, so I had to climb three flights of stairs—bad for my knees—and they didn’t accept cash.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff. However, I had to request towels every day, the breakfast was very disappointing, the pool and its surroundings needed work (the pool was green and closed mid‑week), and it was 99° every day we were there.

I stayed before the hotel was modernised, and even now it’s still being redecorated; the rooms are lovely, modern, and spacious with extra sitting areas, and the breakfast area is a good size, all open‑plan with a reception breakfast that offers varied options. The shuttle bus costs $15 round‑trip to Broadway, and there’s free access to the mall and the Opry. We love the area and would stay again if we returned to Nashville. The only downside was that the air‑con didn’t work one day; we checked out the next day, informed the staff, and maintenance was sent but couldn’t fix it before we left.
