“Nice property, don't go B&B”
Some staff were excellent, especially Tasha and the two ladies at reception. The room was large and spacious, the bed was nice and comfortable, and it was just across the road from the jetty for boat trips. The bathroom had a shower door that didn’t close properly; the water went cold then hot during a shower. The sink had rust marks from overflow, a wardrobe door handle was missing, and the TV didn’t work. Breakfast was poor and one of the worst continental breakfasts I’ve had in 40 years of traveling. On day one it consisted of a few slices of bread, three different jams, two small containers of cornflakes and musili (not full), a few pieces of watermelon, two percolated coffee pots, and a mystery juice; cups were chipped, milk was in a small jug covered with cling film. Orange juice or similar and cappuccino or milky coffee were extra cost. The next day was the same but without fruit. On day three we were given a breakfast menu and told we could have eggs poached, scrambled or fried; cooking was fine. As the week progressed the breakfast station became less appealing. Cakes were added on day five, but they had been on the bar for sale since our arrival. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was excellent, as was the paid breakfast. Also, having a hand towel in the restaurant WC is not hygienic. Photo below of the breakfast station.
