The highlights of the stay were the coffee available even when we arrived or left, not just at breakfast, and the bed, sheets and towels were very comfortable. Having a TV in the room was also a plus. The reception service was terrible; we were treated as if we had to know everything. Even though my questions were obvious, I would have liked to feel welcomed instead of being seen as a nuisance. The hotel isn’t close to the city centre, and I think the price was high for the location/distance. In my booking (2 adults + 1 child) it said my daughter would stay “free” in the accommodation, but it wasn’t clear that this meant there would be no extra bed for the child; I don’t mind her sleeping in the parents’ bed, but I felt misled that this wasn’t made clear in the reservation.

The family suite was huge and truly perfect for a family, and the staff were very friendly. The furniture and walls could use a little touch‑up, but otherwise our stay was really pleasant.

The hotel is well‑located, close to the centre and many metro stations with excellent connections. In our case we were just passing through Basel and it met expectations. It’s near places to eat, well connected, and easy to reach the airport. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The upper shower worked terribly and was disappointing; the handheld shower worked fine.

The hotel is in a great location—not directly in the city center, but within easy walking distance and well connected by tram and bus routes. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which made things very convenient. We were traveling with our baby, and the staff couldn't have been more empathetic and accommodating. The crib provided was also very comfortable. The room can feel a bit small if you're traveling with a lot of luggage
