“Beautiful apartment and lovely stay in a lovely city.”

The unit was freshly renovated, 5‑star quality, spacious, classy, neat, clean, and even had a nice balcony—an excellent stay with nothing to fault. It sat in a central spot close to great restaurants, shops, the sea, the old town, and just 300 meters from the cruise‑port shuttles. Getting in touch with the owner after arrival was tough using the number given; I was exhausted from traveling all day and almost thought I’d booked a fake place. Luckily another couple in one of the three rooms had a different number to call, and the owner came quickly and sorted everything out.

The location is good, but the place isn’t a finished apartment—it’s three rooms sharing two bathrooms. The furnishings are bland and uncomfortable, and the “apartment” is nothing like the description.

The central spot and quiet, silent building are great, and the tourist tax correction was helpful. However, the cleaning was poor and customer care was lacking—from the host who greeted us under working conditions to the cleaning lady who doubted what she was told and asked. The right cleaning tools were missing, they didn’t even change towels even though we stayed only two nights and three days, and we were left with a single roll of toilet paper. No courtesy set was provided.

“Perfect location.”

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the rooms were. The elevator felt a bit scary, but that’s common in the area. We enjoyed a nice view from the awesome balcony. A straight descent down the stairs behind the building leads to the free cruise shuttle, and walking to the seawall shopping and dining is easy. The bathroom and bedroom were in separate locations, which was a bit odd but not a problem.
