The hotel is easy to find in a small town close to Avallon. There is ample free parking available at the hotel car park located across the road. The hosts are very welcoming and speak excellent English. The rooms are large, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The food in the restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. This is an excellent base for exploring the Morvan and we hope to return again soon

La chambre était spacieuse et super bien équipée , manquait juste une petite bouilloire pour tisane ou thé, la télé fonctionnait très bien, image impeccable et elle était amovible ce que l'on voit peu dans les hôtels et qui est pourtant très pratique . La douche est dans la baignoire, ça peut gêner toutefois ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Lit très confortable RAS , bien insonorisée et très bien protégée de la lumière . Le restaurant de l'hôtel est de très bonne qualité/prix et les deux personnes à l'accueil et service restaurant sont professionnels et très agréables . Rien vraiment en fait , à part un peu la douche qui nous a plus surpris que gênés

* Location relative to the Vezelay visit * The hotel is pleasant, bedding and bathrooms are adequate. Ceiling ventilation is very useful in high season. * The evening meal and breakfast are very tasty * The staff are discreet, professional, and friendly * The building is old but does not diminish the quality of the services. * Who cares about evacuation measures in case of fire? At least there you won’t have excuses… They’re posted on the bathroom door… and that will give you reading material… Bravo. Well seen 👌
