The breakfast was really good, everything was available and the staff were very helpful. However, the overall impression of the hotel doesn’t match the price; it’s hard for older guests to reach the upper floors because there is no elevator.

The location is great and the renovated rooms have truly comfortable beds. On the downside, there’s no elevator, so it’s a bit tough for women with large suitcases.

This is one of my favorite hotels ever! The beds were king‑size and comfy, and I loved the separate blankets. Breakfast was phenomenal with fresh eggs, tasty bread, local meats and cheeses, and the made‑to‑order lattes were a treat. The staff remembered our orders after a couple of days and were so nice! The gorgeous cats in the beautiful garden were a bonus, and the view of the lake and ferry from the stoves was absolutely gorgeous. The only downsides were that it was a bit hot without AC and the pillows felt a bit stiff.
