The location is decent, but it’s noisy because it’s close to the street. The toilet didn’t flush well and the shower head dripped all night. The room size is decent, and the restaurant staff were very friendly. The door lock was a bit stuck and wouldn’t open when I left. The shower head dripped water, and the toilet didn’t flush quickly.

The location was good. The resort restaurant had street vendors roaming around, and one vendor tried to extort 300 pesos for 7 sea urchins. Resort staff had no obligation to protect guests, and instead they helped the vendor’s business by encouraging us to try their tasty food.

I stayed at an older property that stayed clean and functional, but the Moal Boal itself has lost some of its charm.
