Beautiful spot in the heart of the old town with a terrace right on the river. Trebinje is a lovely peaceful town and Castello is the perfect place to enjoy it from.

The terrace is the real highlight; you can sit quietly and watch the river. The location in the old town is unbeatable. Overall it matches the pictures and description on Booking, and you know you’re getting a mini‑apartment. When temperatures exceeded 30 °C, the air‑conditioning was pleasantly effective! Our host Dragan was very kind, helpful, and responsive to every question. Thank you! However, the bathroom is truly tiny, so a few hooks on the wall would be useful for towels or toiletry bags, and the same applies to the so‑called kitchen—an extra shelf would help store personal items.

The host was very friendly and immediately arranged a separate mattress instead of a French double bed. On the day of departure we were allowed to leave our belongings in storage until the arranged transport time. The location in the Old Town and the terrace right on the river are perfect for a relaxing break. Everything else was great; maybe add a curtain or a holder for folded clothes after ironing.

The property is fantastic and unbelievably well priced. Dragan is a wonderful host and I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Trebinje. It sits right in the heart of the old town, with access to everything within seconds. The terrace and views of the mountains and rivers are phenomenal for the price. The room is comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever booked. Thanks to Dragan and his family for their hospitality.
