The location is fine. It’s not very user‑friendly for people with visual or mobility challenges.

The beds were good and the room was clean. A bottle of water in the room and a vending machine for after‑hours drinks would be nice.

The place sits in a great spot and the hotel itself was spotless. The dining experience fell short: I ordered mussels, but they arrived in a thick cheese sauce instead of the white wine sauce listed on the menu, paired with rock‑hard garlic bread that was dry, rubbery, and basically inedible. I asked the waitress to bring the issue to the kitchen, but nobody came back. The bill still listed the mussels, so I refused to pay and requested the manager. When the bill returned, the mussels were removed, yet I never heard from the manager. Service was very poor.

Dinner was genuinely tasty, and the staff at both the restaurant and reception were very friendly. I could faintly hear a TV in an adjacent room, but that’s pretty normal for a hotel.
