The spot was perfect: just a few minutes from bars and restaurants, but far enough to stay quiet. I’m not sure if it’s a French quirk, but not being able to brew coffee in the room felt odd.

The location was good, but the motorcycle parking was paid and the courtyard was open with an unsecured gate. Breakfast cost 15 euros and could be better.

The hotel was lovely, the view was fabulous, the staff were great, and it offered good value – thank you! Nothing to add.

The hotel was decent with a breakfast that was more generous than usual in France, but the private parking was pricey and narrow.
