“Basic place to stay, breakfast after 9:30 am, overpriced”
The location is easy to spot, close to Yashoda hospital and several metro stops, and the staff were fine. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the Fabhotel phone helpline answered quickly. Basic soap, shampoo, and a dental kit were supplied, hot water worked, and a water bottle was handed out. The AC was broken, so the room stayed hot and humid; I had to crack the window and run the bathroom exhaust to breathe. The room was very plain, and sometimes the reception staff were absent. Traffic outside made it noisy. When I arrived at 3 am the main gate was shut and there was no call bell, so I had to dial the helpline for the number. I had to pay part or all of the room in advance to secure the booking, but I never received a payment confirmation. Even though the booking said breakfast was included, the hotel didn’t receive that info, so I called the helpline again. They explained breakfast only starts after 9:30 am when housekeeping arrives, so I missed it because I had to leave for work. The price feels too high for all these shortcomings; it should be under 2 k/night.
