“Lovely stay”

One of Melide’s best hidden gems. Though it’s tucked into an alley next to Lux Melide Hotel, the moment you step in it’s clean, quiet, and peaceful. Rooms are lovely and modern, and an elevator means no stairs with luggage. Check‑in happens at Lux Melide on the main street, where the receptionist then escorts you to Pension Berenguela. You can use all Lux Melide facilities, and their laundry room downstairs offers washing machines and tumble dryers for 4 € per wash or dry. We enjoyed the buffet dinner at Lux Melide, which was very good with a wide variety of food. A charming little coffee shop tops the alley for breakfast and is close to the Camino. Nothing else to note.

“Positive lodging experience, definitely would like to return”

Located on the Camino route, the clean, comfortable, quiet room was close to many services and its link to Hotel Lux made dinner and breakfast in the dining room convenient, and this was my second stay after a positive first experience.

The room was quiet and the staff were friendly and available, but the bathroom door orientation could be changed to improve accessibility.

The location, quality and price were excellent, and managed by Hotel Lux you could dine buffet‑style for dinner and breakfast, making it perfect to rest after a stage of the Camino, although the shower was a bit small.
