“I was left feeling scammed with no one to talk to”

The location was great, that’s all. Beware before making a big mistake! The room was smaller than expected, with no space to lay a suitcase, let alone being a “double room.” The staff was unavailable; I first contacted them about a broken refrigerator, they insisted I was wrong, then reluctantly promised to fix it, but never did. The elevator didn’t work, so we had to climb many stairs to the fifth floor of a building with huge ceilings; the staff never responded when we reported it. Other tenants confirmed the elevator issue is normal, so expect to hike up and down. The room itself was filthy, water‑damaged, moldy everywhere (especially black mold in the shower), and dusty. Wallpaper was peeling, revealing moldy walls. The fact that the management hasn’t even replied to my text about the elevator shows how little they care about guests. BEWARE!!!

I stayed on a high floor with a balcony, which kept the noise down and the location was unbeatable; the host was very friendly. Nothing else to note.

The place is in a perfect spot—walking distance to all the sights, just a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Check‑in was smooth and hassle‑free. The only hiccup was the stairs leading from the elevator to the room; it didn’t bother me, but it’s something people with limited mobility or heavy luggage should be aware of.
