Perfect location, staff very responsive and pleasant. Nothing.

The room had a shower toilet and provided bath towels, which was nice. However, the water never came on and the only amenity was soap; I had no hair dryer, which was inconvenient.

The place sits right inside Fisherman Village and you never see the staff in person, but they respond via WhatsApp if you ask for something. It was dirty. The bathroom is tiny and the shower splashes onto the sink. The water is cold even though the island is always hot. The walls are thin, so you hear everything outside and from the neighboring bedroom. One night we saw a cock crawl under the door because it never even reaches the floor. I get that it’s an island and you have to adapt, but it’s expensive for what it really is and there aren’t many options either.

The guest house offers good value for money. We paid exactly for what we received: a standard room with air‑conditioning and a private bathroom. The guest house is very close to the jetty, so restaurants, shops and boat excursion agencies are nearby.
