Hostel Bajala Siargao, in General Luna, sits on a private beachfront with direct sand access and a year‑round outdoor pool. This little haven of peace is truly pleasant, perfect for tranquility. The bedding is very comfortable, and the pool offers a sea view. If you want to party and move around, it’s easy to reach General Luna by scooter in about 6 minutes… A wonderful place, I recommend it!!!

Excellent property, the best hostel dorms I’ve ever stayed in. The restaurant also offered some really good options. The only drawback was that the AC shuts off from 11 AM to 4 PM, but that’s hardly an inconvenience; you can always nap in the hammocks on the private beach during that window.

The place is super nice and the staff are very friendly and clean. A 15‑minute drive to General Luna is worth it for a quieter vibe. The beach right in front of the hostel isn’t great, but a 5‑minute scooter ride gets you to a nice one. The owners enforce strict rules; more flexible scooter rental rates for longer stays, surf rack upgrades, or surf skate ID options would make guests stay on‑site instead of outside. Adding basic scrambled eggs to the restaurant menu would also be nice.

I had a memorable stay at Hostel Bajala—chill, especially in the front area where you can relax and watch the sunset. It’s clean, the staff are accommodating, I met a nice girl, and most roommates were friendly. It’s a bit far from the center, so renting a motorcycle is a good idea.
