The rooftop rooms are beautiful, fairly large, with a kettle, soap, towel, etc., and a big bathroom. Wi‑Fi is intermittent. The staff are friendly and there’s an interesting old Englishman staying long‑term (I met him by the door; he ordered me an excellent dinner for ₹80). It’s a short walk to the fort, though you have to cross a fairly busy road.

The owner and his family were really nice and helped us settle in; the spot sits on the quieter side of the old city center yet still gives easy access to all the main sights, and the locals were always ready to help whenever we got lost.

The room was large and clean, the place is well situated, and the family running it was very friendly and helpful.
