The accommodations didn’t match the listing, there was no receptionist at any time, no fridge for nighttime drinks, and the parking, a few blocks away, was poorly organized. The room had only two outlets for two beds – a double and a single – so if three people stayed, none could charge their phones, and there was no space for luggage.

I didn’t like anything…so I left the lodge and went to a hotel. The mattress…the shower…the ventilation…the mold.

“Decepção”

Booking the Devotos Inn turned out to be a disappointment. The place looked cozy in the photos, but in reality it was awful and the reception was a tiny gate that made us hesitant to enter. We had to find another hotel, which added unexpected costs; we’re trying to get a refund. The site should verify properties before partnering. The location was terrible, parking was far from the inn and the streets felt like a slum. We paid for a different hotel that was nicer and are still seeking a refund.

Breakfast was excellent and the hotel is close to the church, but the stairs were a hassle; otherwise we liked it.
