The staff were kind and professional, the room was spacious and well appointed, and the rooftop pool and bar area had spectacular views. Oh, and the breakfast selection was excellent, catering for a range of tastes. There are renovations causing some daytime disturbances, but staff informed me on my arrival.

The staff were friendly, the spot was spot‑on, and the service was smooth and hassle‑free; the bathroom stocked plenty of essentials for a comfy stay, though the carpet’s hue left something to wish for.

Shambala is a gem of a hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms are beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, and the food is incredible - the breakfast spread is particularly impressive. But what really sets Shambala apart is the staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. As someone who's spent a lot of time in hotels for work, I can confidently say that Shambala is one of the best I've ever stayed in.

The hotel's staff were absolutely lovely - they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and helped me with everything I needed. The only downside was that the place itself is a bit old, with some creaky floors and outdated decor. Still, the friendly staff made up for it, and I appreciated their warmth and efficiency.
