“It's a fantastic place to stay for a visit to Weston.”

I was thrilled with my room—no complaints at all. The guest house itself is a charming old building, and I especially liked the welcoming living room right next to the front entrance. The front garden is worth a visit, especially to watch the goldfish. The property sits in a lovely part of Weston, and it was great to meet Gwen and greet the lady who assists her.

The single suite room met my needs. However, the bathroom was tiny; when I sat on the toilet, my head was almost touching the shower. The blinds on the small window overlooking the public car park at the rear didn’t block the car park lights, so the room stayed bright all night, and a dog howling in the early morning woke me and I couldn’t get back to sleep.

The town is quiet, and the room gives me full access to Freeview channels so I can catch my favourite shows, but the pillows aren’t the most comfortable and there’s no ambient lighting—just a lamp.

The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly, and the location on a quiet road keeps me away from the main attractions.
