Wow. Arriving at Misty Mountain in the Mist felt epic, with the ocean’s rough sound and a jungle buzzing with birds, and waking up to the sea was breathtaking. The staff were so kind and they put together a gorgeous breakfast—from the coffee to the homemade cupcakes, probably the best breakfast we had on our three‑week Garden Route trip. We were lucky to snag a last‑minute booking, but we wouldn’t be as happy if we paid the full amount versus what we get back; other reviews will explain. If you’re after a luxury, fully serviced stay and aren’t an adventurous type… don’t stay here.
