I liked how the staff were educated and the owner’s attentiveness that let us leave our luggage when we went sightseeing in Alter do Chão. Improvements needed: better cleaning and a new soap holder in the shower.

The reception was good, the room is decent and close to the old town, which is both a plus and a minus. There’s a nice garden and a shared kitchen. It could be a bit cleaner, and the central area feels unsafe.

Everything was very clean and close to many tourist attractions. There’s no breakfast, but there are coffee spots nearby.
