Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore

It’s close to the airport, but some light switches didn’t work at first and we had to call staff to fix them; the paint looks a bit old and could use a refresh.

Overall the hotel is good, but the staff was unfriendly from the start for no reason. I have several complaints: 1) The room wasn’t ready even after 3:00 PM. 2) At the bar by the pool, an employee yelled at us for unknown reasons, threw the welcome drinks (non‑alcoholic, just in case) at us, and didn’t let us use the quantity given at reception. 3) In the restaurant, staff didn’t know any prices and couldn’t explain anything properly. 4) The hotel claims waterfront access, but you can’t actually walk around the grounds. 5) The borscht was disappointing; the menu claims it’s Russian heritage, but it’s actually Ukrainian heritage per UNESCO.

“Comfortable and excellent facilities”

The comfort and facilities. We deliberately chose to stay next to the airport as we had a short 2 night stay. We were ok taking train to central Singapore

“Really relaxing short stay prior to a flight.”

It was quiet, clean, well appointed, the pool was excellent and the garden restaurant was excellent, yet the light switches in the room were hard to figure out when tired.

The staff were amazing, incredible and accommodating, but the room had a bad smell. :(
