The location, bar and food were great with a good atmosphere, yet the room and beds were damaged and very uncomfortable, and one corner of the room smelled of urine.

It sits in a great spot right in the centre of Llanberis, and there’s free parking. I didn’t realise there were no kitchen facilities until after I had booked.

The location was good. The bunk beds had no quilt, pillow or curtain and the bunk bed looked like it was about to collapse; the top bunk safety rail was literally hanging off.

The location was decent and there’s a bar. You have to bring your own sleeping bag and pillows, the rooms are extremely basic. It’s surprisingly expensive for such a basic place.
