We chose the deluxe room and it was amazing: a large modern room with windows along the river and a balcony, a huge double bath facing the river, a big comfy bed, a kettle, a small fridge, and our bikes were safely locked. We ate at a pizza restaurant across the road that served delicious food. The road was busy, but all bedrooms faced the river so the noise was negligible, and the view was definitely worth it. I’m a poor sleeper, but it didn’t bother me at all, so there’s really no real negative.

The panoramic view from the bath was stunning, the room was clean and wonderfully decorated. The café corner with a cash register was a great idea – I haven’t found that elsewhere!

The place sits in a superb spot with great views, and the staff were friendly, but the parking layout was confusing and made getting in and out a hassle.
