“Convenient location, but lacking in other ways”
The hotel sits in a convenient spot and offers a price that’s hard to beat compared to other local options. Unfortunately, our stay at Crossroads was frustrating: the whole property feels a bit old‑fashioned, and the room’s furniture, wallpaper, and carpet could use a refresh. The AC failed twice during the night, the shower water was either scalding or freezing most of the time, the king‑size sheets were too small and curled up nightly, one lounge chair had broken legs, and though the hotel wasn’t to blame, weekend noise from nearby bars and restaurants was loud. Breakfast was sparse; items weren’t restocked quickly and often sat out until they cooled. Staff attention seemed a bit thin, and laundry costs per item were high with cheaper alternatives just a walk away. Still, the location and price are solid, but don’t expect premium facilities.
