The place was filthy with cockroaches, and the breakfast had rotten eggs—this is not a hotel, it feels more like a 90s dormitory.
“Una pesadilla”
The rooms facing the highway and the train track made it impossible to sleep. There is no elevator and the stairs to the rooms have steps of uneven height, so you can easily trip; it feels like the stairs were designed by someone who only finished first year of architecture or a draftsman. The furniture in the rooms is broken. The toilet lid falls onto your back when you sit. The TV doesn’t work, no channel is tuned. The staff are very unfriendly and unprofessional. Honestly, look elsewhere for accommodation.
The staff were helpful. The room was large and warm. Breakfast was good. In the bathroom of room 119, the water system was poor; the shower needs repair and the water flows slowly.
It was dirty and smelled awful. This is terrible.
“还是住第比利斯吧”
The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is right on the road from Tbilisi to Yerevan. The price includes breakfast, but the restaurant and the lodging are separate; the hotel issues a ticket, and only then does the restaurant cook. We were supposed to have breakfast at 9 am, but when we arrived at 9 am the restaurant had nothing ready. So we first went to the hotel to get the ticket, and only then did the restaurant start cooking, by which time it was 9:15. We stayed here mainly for the convenience of driving in the morning, so breakfast should have been ready earlier. If the hotel cares about guests, it should serve breakfast earlier; if it cares about itself, it can wait longer, but guests won’t wait. 9 am is not too early, but the front desk staff were sleeping on a sofa opposite the counter! As for breakfast, it was clear that it was a rushed, makeshift affair. I definitely won’t stay there again. Hotels in Tbilisi are plentiful, the distance between the two cities is only 40 km, and breakfast starts at 7 am there; we’ll adjust our plans and stay in Tbilisi next time.
