“Schöne Zeit in Marburg”
A big, nice room with a modern bathroom and a quiet spot. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was enough, but the waterbed was uncomfortable and ruined my sleep.
The breakfast was sparse and disappointing.

Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices and fresh vegetables.
“Surprise waterbed, but otherwise ice.”
The room was very clean and roomy, and breakfast was nice. However, we ended up with a room that had three beds, two of which were waterbeds, and no prior notice was given about this; we would have chosen a different room if we had known.

A guesthouse in a Marburg suburb, very quiet, with tidy rooms even though the furniture isn’t the latest trend. The breakfast is solidly traditional, and in the evenings you can grab drinks from a fridge in the lobby—clearly a sign the owner trusts his guests. The price‑value ratio is very good. The Marburg district of Schröck lies east of the city center in the Lahnbergen; the public transport options make the guesthouse only marginally recommendable.
