Staying here felt like living in a historic townhouse with original Malay furniture and details. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, suggesting authentic eateries and helping us navigate the city. They even served us traditional Malay breakfasts, which was both delightful and an immersive experience. The hotel sits right in the old city centre, so it can be noisy, but the convenience and authenticity outweigh that.

It felt like walking into a museum, with beautiful décor everywhere. The breakfast introduced us to all the delicious Melaka foods! The beds were a little hard.

The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, and staying in a Peranakan cottage felt unique. The only drawback was having to go up the stairs with heavy bags—though the staff helped—but a lift would have been nice.
