The service was wonderful and the staff were friendly. Nothing to complain about.

“Bad service”

We didn’t get breakfast. We waited almost an hour outside the courtyard before they opened for us. We didn’t shower because the water was cold and the toilet wouldn’t flush. We called their number several times; it went to voicemail, and when it finally connected, the owner said he wasn’t on the premises and would send someone to open for us. We waited about another 20 minutes.

“Disappointed”

Samuel was very helpful and the WiFi worked great, but the parking was awful—tight spaces that made moving in and out difficult, there were cockroaches in the room, the microwave was broken, the shower door was broken, one bathroom window wouldn’t close properly, the neighbors were noisy, I found old French fries in the cupboard with the crockery, and the TV remote didn’t work.

“Very friendly staff, cheap accommodation, basic facilities reflecting the price.”

The staff were very friendly, but the location was quite far from Cape Town; it’s fine during the week since the Bellville Metro Rail station is only about a 15‑20 minute walk away, yet it’s inconvenient on weekends because there are no trains on Saturdays or Sundays.
