OXE hostel

I think this was the most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed in; I fell in love with it. The view, the architecture, and the fact that Bela and Bruno did so much by hand made it all feel special. I felt at home and can’t wait to return. It’s gorgeous, soulful, and full of affection. Bela and Bruno are very friendly and helpful hosts, and I was lucky to have a quiet stay where I could connect with them and feel like I left with two friends from Moreré <3. Their breakfast is marvelous. I fell in love with Miúdes, the cat who keeps the energy of the place alive—she’s a sweetheart. The women’s room is very comfortable, spacious, pretty, and roomy. Every detail is thoughtfully designed and beautiful if you notice. OXE Hostel, thank you for welcoming me in Moreré <3. The only thing is that walking back from the beach to the hostel is a bit sweaty, about 15 minutes on the sand with a slight climb, but you get used to it. At night I would have taken a quad bike!

This place is amazing with a breathtaking view! The location is perfect for exploring the area around the charming village of Moreré, and the island’s most beautiful beaches are within walking distance. The host is super kind and helpful, the breakfast is very delicious, it’s clean, and the rooms are spacious—a perfect place for some peace and relaxation. I recommend it 1000%! Muito obrigadaaaa

Everything! From afar, one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at!! The room has a stunning view, the beds are comfortable, and from the bed you can see the beach!! The room and bathroom are super clean and organized! I felt at home and very cozy! The breakfast is modest, but you can feel the care and love in the preparation, and it’s also delicious! Bela and Bruno are exceptional, very dear and friendly, and also super professional. Everything is very organized, clean, and of great taste! I definitely want to return to Moreré and spend more time there! The only detail is that to get back to the hostel from the center of the village there’s a big sandy hill that can be a bit annoying to climb at night; an alternative path would be perfect!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Very clean, a good breakfast, and a breathtaking view. All just 10 minutes from the beach. /
