The pool was a quiet spot I really enjoyed, though it was swarmed with insects probably because of the nearby forest. Most of the staff seemed indifferent to customer care, which felt off given the price. Breakfast was disappointing, lacking both variety and culinary skill.

Everything was outstanding! The setting, the room, the restaurant, the pool – all superb. Special thanks to the staff who did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. A professional and caring team.

A great retreat with top‑class rooms. The service was very helpful and polite. The location is excellent, though you usually need a TukTuk to get around, which is also a fun experience.

I liked the rooms the most – they were very well organized and spacious. The balcony was a highlight, large and shaded by tall trees. The walkability within the compound was good, though the compound itself wasn’t as big as I’d hoped. Our checkout was a disaster because of the property’s inconvenient policies and bad communication. We left around 7:15 AM, but the checkout desk was closed since it only opens from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a physical checkout is required. The compound’s restaurant doesn’t accept cash or credit cards; all charges must go to the room and be paid in full at checkout. I assumed my credit card on file would allow automatic payment while I was away, but later that day, while on a safari, I got a very accusatory call from the lodge owner demanding immediate payment via MPesa. I explained I don’t have an MPesa account and could only pay by credit card. She then sent a link to a slow, buggy website. Despite poor cellular reception in the game park and the stress of missing the safari, I eventually got the charge authorized. I later texted the owner with constructive, friendly suggestions to prevent similar problems for future guests. I didn’t make any accusations, yet I never received a reply.

“Relaxing and beautiful scenery”

A beautiful, calm, and quiet spot that’s still close to a lot of attractions. The pool is very relaxing, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful.
