Convenient location. Friendly staff. The room had all the minimal essentials. The shower toilet was old; everything works but needs updating.

We stayed only one night, but from the start we liked the location. It’s very convenient for walking to the most important spots in the center of Gdańsk. The reception was great, and the room—simple but adequate for a short stay like ours—was fine. The showers were clean but a bit worn from use, and the bathrooms had a slightly annoying smell. The kitchen was tidy and nice, but the dishes provided were a bit dirty.

The biggest advantage of the place is its location and the price‑to‑quality ratio! The positives: a large dining area with two refrigerators and a reasonably equipped kitchen, easy access to the hostel (chip, key, reception), warmth in the room (late October), several shower cabins and toilets on the whole floor, the option to use towels (after picking them up at reception), and clean bedding. It was great that we could check in (and leave our luggage in the room) 3 hours early because our room was already ready, which was a big plus! The biggest downside was the beds (double‑bed, room 208) – they screeched incredibly with every tiny movement, a real drama! Moreover, if the person sleeping downstairs changed position, the whole bed (and thus the upper deck) would shake. The beds were very unstable, especially the black ones – when no one was sitting on the lower deck and I went up (I weigh 65 kg) I seriously worried about tipping the bed (along with myself) to the side. The second issue – on the last day there was no electricity, but only in the kitchen, so no kettle, induction, or fridge worked. We couldn’t prepare anything to eat and had to move the kettle/microwave to another room. The third – not the hostel’s fault, but on the last night the room next door had a big party (the walls aren’t very thick), with screams and noise until 2:00 am, and only after we pointed it out did the partygoers quiet down. Still, no staff reacted.

Moldy smell in the bathroom. It needs refreshing because you can’t stay there long.

In the very center. You can leave your luggage. Helpful staff. A large kitchen with everything. Very noisy; everything from the corridor carries, the doors make noise, and it’s hard to sleep.
