I paid a fair price and the room was warm and clean, so I could relax. The staff were friendly.

The nearby park made for nice walks, but the price keeps going up each year, so a little lower would be better.

Running along the Ishikari River was perfect for my morning jog, but I could hear noise from the neighbor and hallway.

Near the hotel is the Rotary where the film “First Love 初恋” was shot, and the hotel faces Iwaki Park with Asahibashi right in front – a great spot. I also visited the Asahikawa Art Museum inside the park and enjoyed the view of the park behind Asahikawa Station’s North Saicho. It’s ideal for sightseeing. The hotel is simple but the price is reasonable, and having breakfast included at this rate is a bargain. The bath and toilet are cramped; when draining the tub water ran onto the floor, but it wasn’t a problem.
